Every business must go through an approved platform to receive, then issue, its e-invoices. The tax authority publishes the list of registered operators, and only those can play that role. To choose, it is better to start from your needs than from an offer: invoice volume, need for e-reporting of consumer or foreign sales, accounting software already in use, formats you produce, need for invoice storage. This site does not rank platforms and receives no commission: the comparison tool reproduces the official list in alphabetical order, with its reading date. The choice is not final. The decree of 27 July 2026 governs switching platforms: a formal agreement with the new one, kept for 3 years, short periods in working days for the former one, and a duty of continuity for 1 year. It is therefore reasonable to start with a simple offer and switch if it no longer suits you.

Neutral criteria for comparing

The official list of approved platforms says nothing about prices or services: it shows who is registered, and since when. The rest is compared with a few questions, asked the same way of each operator.

Neutral comparison criteria, with no ranking.
CriterionQuestion to ask
StatusRegistered, or only an applicant?
E-reportingDoes it send consumer sales, foreign sales, payments received?
FormatsWhich formats in, which out?
AccountingDoes it connect to my software or my accountant’s?
StorageDoes it keep my invoices, for how long, and give them back?
ExitWhat fees and what period to leave?

The comparison tool reproduces the list in alphabetical order and lets you filter by status, place of establishment and registration date. The copy used is a dated archive copy of the published list, as the official site was under maintenance on the reading day.

Switching platforms: the decree’s periods

The decree of 27 July 2026 protects the business that wants to leave. The new platform passes the request to the former one within 2 working days. The former one has 5 working days to object. The directory is updated within 15 working days, and the switch only takes effect after at least 3 working days of synchronisation. After that, the former platform keeps providing certain services for 1 year and must pass you the relevant information within 5 business days.

Before signing

Read the commitment period, exit fees and the return of your invoices: that is where the real differences lie. Ask for a trial period or a test area. Check that the formal agreement is dated and kept, since the decree requires keeping it for 3 years. The service-public.fr page recalls that signing a business up with a platform remains a simple step. Receiving duties are covered on the receiving page, the directory on the directory page.

Three profiles, three reflexes

A micro-entrepreneur invoicing a few business customers a month mostly needs simple receiving, easy invoice submission and, if selling services, the payment-received status: a light offer is enough, and the deciding question is exit fees. A shopkeeper selling mostly to consumers should first check e-reporting and the link with the till. An SME receiving hundreds of supplier invoices will look at the quality of integration with its books and how rejections are handled. In all three cases, a demonstration on your own invoices is worth more than a brochure.

Common questions

Can my accountant choose the platform for me?

They can advise you and often offer a platform linked to their own software, but your business signs the agreement and remains responsible for its duties. Check that the platform offered is on the official list, and what happens to your invoices if you change accountants.

How long does switching platforms take?

The decree sets maximum periods in working days for each step: passing to the former platform, possible objection, directory update, then a minimum synchronisation before the effective date. The timeline on this page adds them up to give a latest date, from the agreement date you choose.

Can two platforms be used at the same time?

A business can give issuing to one platform and receiving to another, or spread its establishments across several platforms, the directory telling each supplier where to send its invoices. This complicates management and record keeping; for a small business, a single platform remains the simplest choice.
