Editorial policy and corrections
Getting a date wrong or underestimating a fine can cost a business dearly. This page says where each piece of information comes from and what happens when something is wrong.
Responsibility
Radif Partners is responsible for the content and tools. Contact: contact@datefacture.fr.
Ranking of sources
- Laws, decrees and orders in their version in force on Légifrance: the French tax code and its annexes, finance acts, the decree and order of 27 July 2026;
- Administrative guidance: commentary published in the Bulletin officiel des finances publiques (BOFiP);
- Official information: service-public.fr, impots.gouv.fr (including the list of approved platforms), and the Factur-X specification published by the FNFE-MPE.
Press articles, forums and software vendors’ pages are not a source for rules. If two sources conflict, the higher one prevails, and we say so.
Every figure dated
Every date, threshold, amount and period is stored with its source and reading date in a parameter file. Pages read their figures from that file, never from the text. Anything only announced enters the tools only once published in the Journal officiel.
Testing the tools
Invoices produced by the creator are validated with Mustang (PDF/A-3 check by veraPDF and Factur-X EN 16931 rules). Automated tests run on every change.
Schedule
Sources are reread regularly, with a full review at least every 12 months and after each new text, new BOFiP commentary or new version of the platform list.
Corrections
- Check against the source.
- Fix in the parameter file or rules, with a test.
- New date on the pages concerned.
Independence
No funding from software vendors, platforms, firms or authorities. No affiliate links, no sponsored content, no platform ranking, no lead forms.
